Announcements
Adrienne Geralds, TD
TD is making changes to their quarterly meetings - the original plan was to eliminate them entirely. Instead, they will be
directed to the technical contacts only and make them more of a discussion with the people who manage networks. They will
probably remain quarterly. The next one is scheduled for April 10.
Ed Humphrey, CSS
The Nagios monitoring software has been upgraded to version 2. It will provide more reporting and scalability.
RATS and RAMS have been moved to new hardware.
Tom Grzelak, OIRT
Upcoming IT events (see calendar on OIRT site):
- March 8 - Matlab training sessions - videoconfrenced to all three campuses.
- March 21 - half-day symposium on instructional technology - it's geared toward faculty, but IT staff are welcome.
- March 28 - vendor presentation by Apple at the Busch Campus Center - register on OIRT site.
- April 11 - annual IT Vendor Fair, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, Busch Campus Center MPR.
- April 12 - Adobe CS3 presentation - targeted to product users, CORE auditorium.

Reminder - Daylight Saving Time is this weekend.
MS Office 2007 seminar on April 19.
Working on other training efforts in connection with the Campus Agreement. We'll also have access to online training
materials from Microsoft. A Vista training session is pending.
